Password Management
Manage your account password securely.
Changing Your Password
- Go to Settings → Security
- Find the Password card
- Enter your Current Password
- Enter your New Password
- Confirm your New Password
- Click Update Password
With 2FA Enabled
If you have two-factor authentication enabled:
- Complete steps 1-5 above
- Click Send Code to receive a verification code
- Enter the 6-digit code from your email
- Click Update Password
Password Requirements
Your password must meet all of these requirements:
| Requirement | Description |
|---|---|
| Length | At least 8 characters, maximum 100 |
| Uppercase | At least one uppercase letter (A-Z) |
| Lowercase | At least one lowercase letter (a-z) |
| Number | At least one digit (0-9) |
| Special character | At least one of: `!@#$%^&*()_+-=[]{} |

Tip: Use a password manager to generate and store strong passwords.
Password Strength
When creating a password, aim for good or strong ratings:
| Strength | Criteria |
|---|---|
| Weak | Meets minimum requirements only |
| Fair | 12+ characters with all character types |
| Good | 16+ characters with all character types |
| Strong | Long passphrase with mixed characters |
Forgot Password
If you've forgotten your password:
- Go to the login page
- Click Forgot Password?
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a reset link
- Click the link and enter your new password
Reset links expire after 1 hour.
Security Tips
- Don't reuse passwords - Use unique passwords for each service
- Enable 2FA - Adds protection even if your password is compromised
- Update regularly - Change your password every few months
- Never share - Don't share your password with anyone, including support staff
- Use a password manager - Tools like 1Password, Bitwarden, or LastPass help generate and store complex passwords
