Time Tracking

Overview

Time tracking in Ascend allows you to record how much time you spend on various tasks, projects, and clients. You can categorize your time entries using Jobs to generate detailed reports and invoices.

Quick Start

Your First Time Entry

  1. Navigate to Time Tracking from the main navigation
  2. Start a Timer:
    • Click the Play button in the header
    • Select a job (or use your default job)
    • Add a description (optional)
    • Click "Start Timer"
  3. Work on your task - The timer counts automatically
  4. Stop the Timer when done - Review and save the entry

That's it! Your time is now tracked and ready for reporting or invoicing.

Time Entries

Records of time spent on jobs, including:

  • Start and end times
